Storiant (
www.storiant.com), a cold data storage company, finally went out of business for obscure reasons. The company recently recruited
SASI to sell the entity. Super strange as Cold, Long-Term and Compliance storage represents a key strategic investment for users wishing to store data for the long-term, mine and analyze volumes and replace for many vertical ones EMC Centera who was one of the best product but let's say 10 years ago.
Well, it not only looks like Storiant is dead, but its successor BlueArchive is soon to be re-christened Wasabi. So what is up with all of the name changes since the Jeff Flowers seems to be involved in all of them?
