SecurityFirst leverages Object Storage

SecurityFirst, developper of advanced data-centric cyber security solutions, continues to develop a unique cryptographic approach. The company has built SPxCore used in company's DataKeep products and also for partners.

The idea of DataKeep is to control and manage the full lifecycle of data from creation to disposal but above all understand who, what, when, where and how data is accessed and therefore mitigate risk associated with unauthorized data access. The logic relies on the divid and conquer concept:

Beyond classic approach with file and volume level agent, the company adds the support of object storage, cloud or/and on-premises, supporting the S3 API.

The Object Storage Agent receives and encrypts data locally then transfers them securely with the TLS protocol. Data can be split into multiple chunks and stored across one or more cloud storage services with 1:1, 2:3 or 2:4 data protection models. The solution supports Microsoft, AIX, Ubuntu and RedHat.
