HYCU Protégé is GA

HYCU, an emerging leader in SaaS backup, reserved a good surprise to the IT Press Tour crew with the announcement of the general availability of HYCU Protégé unveiled during the June 2019 event. Seen as a specialist for Nutanix and also GCP, HYCU continues its expansion beyond these 2 platforms to become a global data protection player across multi-clouds.

The mission of Protégé is ambitious aiming to protect enterprise data across various environments from on-premises to public clouds. But beyond that comprehensive data protection function, Protégé is able to migrate workloads across clouds thanks to the SpinUp feature and also DR still on any clouds.

The application data consistency is key in the Protégé approach to guarantee no data loss and its capability to recover applications and their associated data.

Protégé is delivered as a virtual appliance or a service on any cloud eliminating all additional hardware flavors accelerating cloud adoption and protect investments. The product can be purchased from global partner and free of charge with any HYCU Data Protection. Data migration costs $99 per VM and DR $24 per VM per month.
