SoftIron supports Veeam, Ceph I mean

SoftIron, the fast growing Ceph-based storage appliance company, joins the Veeam Technology Alliance Partner Program and reaches a the Veeam Ready status. Pretty interesting for an open source solution for the need to obtain a commercial validation.

In fact, HyperDrive is a dedicated storage appliance based on Ceph thus offering block, file and object interfaces. Here, Veeam validates the object capability in two dimensions: the Veeam Object Ready and Veeam Object with Immutability Ready.

As a recognized product in research centers and universities, SoftIron understands the need to obtain commercial validation to penetrate enterprises accounts. Future will be interesting.
